Data Collection

FastlyCal does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All your subscription data is stored locally on your device.

Local Storage

Your subscription information, including names, prices, and payment dates, is stored securely on your device using iOS's built-in data protection.

Photo Library Access (Receipt Scanner)

FastlyCal can optionally access your photo library to scan subscription receipts. Photo access is optional and requires your permission. Images are processed locally on your device using Apple's Vision framework for text recognition. We do not store, save, or transmit any photos. Extracted text is processed and then discarded.

Home Screen Widgets

FastlyCal widgets display your subscription data on your home screen. Widget data is shared between the app and widgets using an Apple App Group container. All widget data remains local to your device and is never transmitted externally.

Third-Party Services

FastlyCal uses the Exchange Rate API (exchangerate-api.com) to fetch current currency exchange rates for conversion purposes. This service receives only the currency codes needed for conversion; no personal data is transmitted. Exchange rate responses may be cached locally on your device for up to 24 hours to minimize network requests.

Currency Exchange Rate Disclaimer

Currency conversion rates are provided by Exchange Rate API for informational purposes only. Rates are cached for up to 24 hours and may not reflect real-time market conditions. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of exchange rates and are not responsible for any financial decisions made based on converted amounts.

Data Accuracy Disclaimer

While we strive to maintain accurate data storage, we cannot guarantee that all information will be perfectly preserved or that notifications will always be delivered on time. Users should verify their subscription details independently.

Push Notifications

FastlyCal uses Apple's local notification system to remind you of upcoming subscription payments. These notifications are generated and stored locally on your device. No notification data is sent to external servers.

Notification Reliability

Push notifications and reminders are subject to iOS system limitations, device settings, and network conditions. We cannot guarantee that all notifications will be delivered successfully or on time.
